Bought this Masala Chai at the Van Farmers Market and it is wonderful as an iced chai latte. It is a very mild chai flavor. I steeped 1 tsp in 1 cup of water for 4 minutes, then let cool in the fridge for a little bit before adding 1/4 cup almond milk and a tablespoon of maple syrup. Stirred and poured over ice. It's great. Can't wait to try the spicy version next.
Best Masala Chai in portland OR
I've bought this at the Farmer's Market a couple of times, now online so I can get it more frequently, had chai all over the world and this stuff is gold. I use it with extra creamy Oat milk and it is amazing. Never write reviews, busy doc, but having found this awesome chai want to share my experience. Hopefully stays popular want them to stay in business forever! thx! Dave
Good product
I have several favorites, but this is my comfort tea year-round. I steep it by adding loose leaf to unbleached paper tea bags, placing them into the bottom of a small coffee maker carafe, and running filtered water through coffee maker. Chai turns out bold and spicy the way I like it - no cream or sugar needed because it has a great aroma and clean taste, no bitterness to this blend. Absolute best! When I want cream and sugar, I put the unbleached tea bags filled with loose leaf into a small sauce pan, do a quick stovetop boil, let it steep a few minutes, and add cream and sugar directly to the pan. I've also tried their Farmer's Market Masala Chai with star anise - it's even better!
