The summer pitcher everyone refills: a deep, tropical iced tea that tastes like ripe mango and needs no added sugar. This is black tea blended with real dried mango pieces, mango essence, and bright calendula petals (marigold) that look like flecks of sunlight in the tin. Brew it hot for a sweet afternoon cup, or brew it strong and pour over ice for a crowd-pleasing pitcher at a barbecue or picnic.

We start with a smooth black base and real dehydrated mango, so the fruit reads sweet-tart and rounded. In South Asia the mango is loved as the King of Fruits, and its short summer harvest is a season of pure indulgence; this blend keeps that flavor on hand all year. The calendula is there mostly for color and adds a soft, woodsy back-note.

Ingredients: black tea, mango pieces, mango essence, and calendula petals. No sugar, no preservatives. Naturally vegan.

Common Questions

How do I brew it?

Use 1 teaspoon per 8 ounces of water, heat the water to about 200°F, and steep 3 minutes. Use fresh leaves each brew. Stop at 3 minutes; a longer steep pulls bitterness that flattens the fruit.

Does it taste like real mango or artificial candy?

Like real fruit. The blend carries actual dried mango pieces alongside natural mango essence, so the flavor is sweet-tart and tropical with the malty black base still coming through, not a cheap syrup note.

Why are there orange-yellow petals in the leaves?

Those are calendula petals (marigold). They are added mainly as a visual showcase, bright against the dark leaf, and contribute only a subtle, woodsy back-note. They will not turn the cup perfumey.

How do I make it iced or as a milk tea?

For iced, brew double-strength and pour over ice, or cold-steep overnight in a pitcher for a naturally sweet drink. For a mango milk tea, brew it strong and combine with milk or oat milk over ice; the robust base cuts through the dairy.

Does it have caffeine?

Yes. The black tea base gives a moderate lift, well suited to mornings and afternoons.
