Bright citrus over grassy green tea: tangerine green is an everyday green leaf blended with orange peel and natural tangerine flavor, lifted with marigold and safflower petals for color. It pours a cheerful cup that tastes clean and green with a sweet, zesty top note. Drink it hot as a brighter morning green, or brew it strong and pour over ice with a slice of orange.

The citrus does real work here, softening the vegetal edge some people find sharp in a plain green tea. The petals are along for the color they give the cup and a touch of meadow softness. We pack ours fresh in small batches in Portland.

Iced, it turns into an easy summer refresher, sweet enough on its own that it needs nothing added. A wedge of orange or a sprig of mint takes it further on a hot day.

Green tea leaves, orange peel, marigold and safflower petals, and natural tangerine flavor. No sugar, no preservatives, naturally vegan. Green tea carries caffeine, lighter than a black tea.

Common Questions

How do I brew it?

Use one teaspoon per eight ounces of water. Heat fresh water to about 175°F, pour it over the leaves, and steep three to five minutes to taste.

Does it taste like real tangerine?

The citrus comes from real orange peel plus natural tangerine flavor, so it reads bright and fruity rather than candy-sweet. Expect a fresh, zesty top note over a clean green base, not a syrupy orange soda.

What are the petals for?

The marigold and safflower petals are there for the warm color they lend the cup and a soft, meadowy note. They are a traditional way to make a blended tea look as lively as it tastes.

Is it good iced?

It is built for it. Brew it a little stronger than usual, cool it, and pour over ice. The tangerine note stays bright over ice, and it needs no sugar to taste like a summer drink.
